Description
Timmermans Kriek Lambicus is a sweetened lambic with natural cherry flavoring added to young lambic. It is currently available in 18cl, 25cl, and 33cl bottles and is listed at 4% ABV.[1] The Kriek Lambicus has a higher percentage of cherry juice added when compared to the Timmermans Kriek Retro Lambicus which is blended with an "older" lambic and has a lower percentage of fruit juice added in order to allow the taste of the older lambic to be present.[2] Older labels indicate that Timmermans Kriek was also available at one time in 37,5cl and 75cl bottles. The Delhaize Food Group also markets Timmermans Kriek under their own in-house label. The Delhaize labelings indicate that the beer has both natural and sugar substitutes as sweeteners.
