Description

Lambic aged on Timorasso grape from I Carpini in the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy. This native grape is rare and almost disappeared during the 20th century but is making a comeback thanks to producers and other actors of the wine scene, especially Walter Massa (as well as a small group of producers friends joining him, calling themselves the "Derthona Dreamers Team") who worked hard to convince wine sommeliers to give the grape a chance at a time inexpensive whites were leading the market, while Timorasso needed time to reach its potential, but was very rewarding. Some say this grape is still one of the best kept secrets of Italy !

So far, the lambic has not been officially released, but displayed typical notes of citrus, almond and honey found in orange wine.

An alternative version blended with Scarabée (Gewurztraminer lambic with grapes provided by Domaine Geschickt in Alsace, France) was also made and sold to drin on-site at the brewery.
