Cantillon is the first known lambic blender to make a Framboise. In 1909, Jean Van Roy reports that they report having made more Framboise than Kriek. This continued until production of Framboise stopped during World War I. <ref name=summit16>[[The Lambic Summit 2010#Part 16|The Lambic Summit, Part 16]] This continued until production of Framboise stopped during World War I. </ref>
Framboise came back in the 1980's when the two batches described here listed below were made. After that, Cantillon renamed their Framboise to [[Cantillon Rosé De Gambrinus |Rose de Gambrinus]].
