Cantillon is the first known lambic blender to make a Framboise. In 1909, they report having made more Framboise than Kriek. <ref name=summit16>[[The Lambic Summit 2010#Part 16|The Lambic Summit, Part 16]] This continued until production of Framboise stopped during World War I. </ref>
Framboise came back in the 1980's when the two batches described here were made. After that, Cantillon renamed their Framboise to [[Cantillon Rose de Rosé De Gambrinus|Rose de Gambrinus]].
