Cantillon Cognac lambic was a test batch produced of lambic brewed in 2003and subsequently aged in Cognac barrels for one year. This test was successful and the beer was brewed as It would prove to be an initial step in commercially producing a full commercial batch large-run Cognac barrel-aged lambic in 2007 under the name [[Cantillon 50 Degrees North - 4 Degrees East]].
