The Lambic lambic used for this Geuze geuze was brewed on the 16th of April 16, 2014 , and was bottled on the 18th of April 18, 2016.Foeder N°109 #109 is an oak cask of 9000 9,000 liters and it is over 100 years old. It was built in Germany around the year 1910 by the company Drexler as part of a series of four foeders as a “beer foeder”foeder, but since 1935 it was used to stock Cognaccognac. The cask ultimately arrived at Boon in 2009. Vat 109 is the first bottling of lambic brewed entirely in Boon's new brewhouse that was installed in 2011.
