Lambic brewer & blender, originally founded in Lembeek as a lambic brewery [[Brasserie_HygëniaBrasserie_Hygiëna|(Brasserie HygëniaHygiëna)]] in 1860 by Louis Paul, which began bottling lambic in 1875. <br>In 1898, Pierre Troch took over, then in 1927 due to the economic crisis, the brewery was sold by his son Réne Troch, to Jozef De Vits, a local tavern owner and gueuze-blender. [[Brouwerij Boon | Frank Boon]] purchased first brewing equipment and learned the trade from Réne De Vits when he retired in 1978.<ref name = DeVitsHist> History, R.
