In the early 1900s, there were 13 breweries in the Schaerbeek region; now there are none. The museum has a map of the Schaerbeek region and historical information about these breweries, as well as other breweries throughout Belgium. [[File:SchaerbeekseMuseum-6.jpg|thumb|left]]They have an extensive memorabilia collection, much of which is on loan from members and volunteers of the museum, for display. There are more than 1500 Belgian beer bottles, 800 glasses, antique brewing equipment, and a reenactment of an old pub from the early 1900's. The collection includes a wide variety of lambic related brewerania spread throughout the museum. Some of these are pictured below.
Throughout the museum, you will find depictions of Pogge guiding you through the museumexhibits. Pogge, who was an old resident and fan of gueuze and faro at the local pubs, is considered to be a cultural representative for the town of Schaerbeek.
