3 Fonteinen Intense Red Oude Kriek was released to coincide with the 2013 [[Toer_de_Geuze|Toer de Geuze]]. It represents a departure from traditional 3 Fonteinen labelings as it does not have the emblematic 3 that is present on other labels. Intense Red was released both in Europe and North America starting in late 2013. A second batch of Intense Red was bottled in May of 2014 and saw release in Europe in early 2015.
