Cantillon Menu Pineau
Description
Menu Pineau is a grape lambic made with the Menu Pineau grape from the Loire region of France. This is the same region as the Pineau d’Aunis grape. Menu Pineau grapes are also known as Arbois or Petit Pineau and are known for their low acidity and often used to soften high acidity wines.[1]
For Zwanze 2011, Cantillon brewed test batches of lambic with Menu Pineau and Pineau d’Aunis grapes. Because the Menu Pineau batch was not selected, Menu Pineau has never been sold commercially and was not publicly released.
