Release Announcement
Emails sent by De Heeren van Liedekercke and a placard displayed on the tables at the restaurant announced the Heerengueuze release (translated):
This beer is an exclusive bottling of 3 Fonteinen lambic and Cantillon bio lambic. It was bottled on January 7th, 2011 by Cantillon after which it continued to mature for two years in our own cellars.
From two internationally highly acclaimed lambic beers to one special gueuze in the gueuze landscape!
De Heeren has been on top of the list of best beer restaurants in the world for quite some time. Our beer kitchen with an expansive selection of beer has been highly acclaimed internationally.
Now that we've finally promoted from second to first place, now's the time to launch this Heerengeuze.
It's a difficult one for beginners, but a gem for the true aficionado: powerful, with a wonderful mouthfeel and strong acidity.
