Description

Oud Beersel Oude Kriek Vieille is a traditional kriek lambic released regularly in both 37,5cl and 75cl bottles. Though some labels list the beer's ABV at 6%, the official Oud Beersel website lists the ABV as 6.5%

History / Other Notes

The 2008 vintage of Oude Kriek Vieille won first place in its category at the World Beer Cup in 2009. Other awards and recognitions for Oude Beersel's Oude Kriek Vieille include gold at the Australian International Beer awards in 2011, bronze in 2012, and silver in 2014. Oude Kriek Vieille was also awarded gold in 2012 at the Brussels Beer Challenge.

The ingredients for Oude Kriek Vieille are 100% natural and consist of 400 grams of sour cherries per liter.
