History

Originally a merger between De Boeck & Goossens in 1938, Brasseries Unies eventually became a large conglomerate of 8 breweries in total: De Boeck, Goossens, Winderickx, Toussaint, De Kroon (Couronne), De Coster-Heymans, Brasserie Louis & Emile De Coster, and Vandenkerckhoven. Acquired and closed by Belle-Vue in 1969. It was originally located at 28-44 Rue Van Hoegaerde in Koekelberg, and the buildings were torn down for high rise apartments. 1 2 3 4 5
