Description
3 Fonteinen Armand & Tomme is a geuze blended by Armand Debelder and Tomme Arthur of The Lost Abbey. It is a blend of four year old Boon lambic, and Armand's own lambic from 2008.
History / Other Notes
Oude Geuze Armand & Tomme (labeled as Armand & Tommy) is a geuze released by Drie Fonteinen at the first Sour & Bitter Festival in Copenhagen in May of 2012. Bottles were sold onsite or to go for 125DKK. This beer was later distributed internationally although none went to the United States.
Unsubstantiated Stories
There are stories circulating that Tomme Arthur was not actively involved in the creation of this blend. Mr. Arthur was not present at the Sour and Bitter Festival where this was released and did not have bottles at Lost Abbey. It is unclear how Tomme's name came to be misspelled on the label.
