Description
Oude Geuze Boon is a regularly released geuze by Boon. It is available in 250ml capped bottles, 375ml and 750ml corked and caged bottles, and 20L kegs. It is labeled as 7% ABV.
History / Other Notes
Boon's Oude Geuze (previously labeled as Geuze Boon or Geuze F. Boon) is a blend of 90% mild 18-month old lambic, 5% strong 3 year-old lambic and 5% young lambic. The final blend takes place in 25,000 liter tanks where the final blend is stored cold. At bottling, the geuze is returned to fermentation temperature in order to start a secondary fermentation in the bottle. [1] [2]
