Description

16-months Lambic macerated for 8 months in freshly emptied Trinidad rum barrel. Y represents the brew season (2021-2022) and 12 the Lambic brew number used for this beer.

This is one of two releases in rum barrels filled together, the second one being Jamaican rum. The Trinidad version is more mellowed with notes of raisins soaked in rum, brown sugar and toffee while the lambic base is still very present, while the Jamaica version is displaying intense and rich notes of dark caramel, molasses, vanilla and spices at the moment of its release, putting the barrel caracteristic forward.

Ingredients: water, malted barley, wheat, hops

Brewed: 08 December 2021 Bottles: 17 November 2023
