History / Other Notes
Oude Pinot Noir Tilquin à l'Ancienne was first blended for and released at Moeder Lambic Original's tenth year anniversary celebration in December of 2016. It contains 350 grams of organic Pinot Noir grapes per liter of lambic from Domaine Valentin Zusslin in Alsace. This blend from the 2015-2016 season was very small, and no bottles were sold to go. Some bottles were available to drink on premises at the blendery after the Moeder Lambic event.
In October of 2016, the blendery received another 1,100 kilograms of organic Pinot Noir grapes from Burger Albert & Doris in the Alsace region of France to do a large scale blend for the 2016-2017 blending season. For this blend, a dilution of 325 grams of fruit per liter was chosen for bottling.
