In September 2010, Boon filled thirty 30-liter kegs of Oude Lambiek from Cask 65. Cask 65 was a Calvados foeder that had only been used to age lambic once before.  Frank Boon wrote: "This is quite exceptional, 2 years old Lambic from a 112 HL shaved Calvados cask, foeder # 65, second fill. The Lambic has 7,21% Vol alcohol and has a nice oak/calvados character with a nice hint of gentian. It has a great drinkability. We will blend it in our regular Geuze by the end of the month (September 2010)."<ref name=rbentry>Ratebeer - Boon Mikkeller Bar Calva Lambic, Foeder 65, http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/boon-mikkeller-bar-calva-lambic-foeder-65/130217/1/7/</ref>
