Description
Boon Vat 77 Monoblend is a geuze blended from two-year-old lambic (at the time of bottling) from foeder #77 and young lambic. It was released in 375ml bottles and is labeled as 8.5% ABV.
History / Other Notes
Vat 77 was released in 2014. It consists of 90% lambic from foeder #77 that was brewed on October 26 and 27, 2011, and was bottled on October 24, 2013. Foeder #77 was made in 1906 and since 1986 has been used to hold 3-year old lambic from Boon. It is reportedly one of Frank Boon's favorite casks.
