Meuzenne is an hybrid blend of 50% lambic with 50% white wine made from hybrid grapes (typically varieties like Johanniter and Souvignier Gris) from the cooperative Vin de Liège.

The blend is bottled and undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle (traditional method with the addition of 6g sugar/liter to reach an "extra-brut" level of sweetness which is very dry)). After that, the result ages on the lees (“sur lie”) for about 9 months.

It is bottled in 75cl format at 9% ABV.

== History / Side-Notes ==

The name is a combination of Meuse (the river associated with the vinyards around Liège) and Zenne (the river crossing the Pajottenland valley).

The concept and idea for this blend comes fron Andy De Brouwer (also at the origin of 3 Fonteinen's Zenne, and Wild Adam - a lambic and cider blend made in collaboration with De Cort), a renowned sommelier and owner of the restaurant Les Éleveurs, who also selects the lambic and wine going into the different blends.
