Description

Edelrood Reserva is a blend of Kriek lambic and pinot noir grapes from the Alsace region in the east of France. It was aged in foeder, and followed by an additional year of barrel maturation (compared to the regular Edelrood release) to add refinement with a softer acidity and deeper wood notes as well as a round, fruity character.

It was bottled as-is, unblended and still.

Side-Notes

This is the Reserva variant, bottled still as a wine. Regular Edelrood is carbonated and spent less time in barrels.
