Jef Colruyt and Frank Boon joined forces for this unique blend in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Boon brewery, but also their childhood friendship, started in the 1970s as they used to deliver geuze and other specialty beers together in Brussels and in the region, before Frank started brewing himself. This friendship grew through the years into a shared love of craftsmanship, daring and local cooperation.
The lambic for this special one-time Oude Geuze was carefully selected by Jef Colruyt and the Boon family (Frank as well as his sons Jos and Karel), combining years of expertise with a fresh touch — a symbol for the future of the new generation of Boon.
