Overview
Poechenellekelder is a bar in the heart of Downtown Brussels. "Poechenelle" is Brussels slang for a "little marionette puppet". It's very popular with both locals as well as tourists, mainly because of its prime location next to the statue of 'Manneken Pis' and walking distance from the Grand Place. The beer menu has most of the classic lambics and gueuzes, and a nice selection of Cantillon seasonals. The interior of this café is what it makes it so special, as it reflects to a retro style such as A La Bécasse and In de Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst.
