For this limited edition Oude Geuze Barrel Selection Madeira Edition, 1.5-year-old lambic was aged for 24 months in barrels that previously held Madeira, a Portuguese fortified wine. After adding some young lambic, the beer was bottled and then aged in bottle for another 18 months.
