==History==
Founded in 1876 as "J.B. Herbos VVe. & fils" in Brussels. Renamed "Brasserie L'Etoile" in 1893. Taken over and renamed Vandenkerckhoven in 1940. Located at Boulevard Barthelemy 39. Merged with [[Brasserie De Coster-Heymans | De Coster-Heymans]] in 1948, becoming Vandenkerckhoven-De Coster-Heymans. Finally merged with [[Brasserie Unies]], which was acquired by [[Brasserie Belle-Vue | Belle-Vue]] and closed in 1969.
