Description

Kweepeerlambiek is a quince lambic blended with cider. The quince variants used in this blend are: Vranja, Lescovak, and Champion. The ciders in this blend is made from organic Pajottenland apples, being Normandian variants: Kermerrien, Marsengien, and Fréquin Rouge. It is bottled in 75cl bottles and listed as 7% ABV.

Het Boerenerf Kweeperlambiek met Cider was first released in June of 2021 and represents the first commercially blended lambic with cider to be produced and released.

My farm heritage in barrels, walls and stories from the past. An old family tradition extinguished, a fresh breeze brings life to a new one. Brewery Eyenbosch Huizingen. 1876 – 1965. Finally my first lambics. Farmer by education, nature as training, lambic as a canvas. I found masters for passion and craft. Creativity in field and orchard. A future and a new generation for our Eylenbosch Farmstead.


Kweepeerlambiek with cider

Three organic Pajot quince varieties matured in three wooden barrels. Before bottling the lambic is blended with an organic Pajot cider made from Normandian apple varieties. Fréquin rouge, Marsenguin and Kermerrien. Fermented and matured in oak barrels. Carefully blended with lambic brewed from ancient local grains. Wheat contribution from own yard. Wild and spontaneous natural beer. This blend is made with 60 % quince lambic and 40 % cider. Bottling date: 23 January 2021. Best before: 9 November 2041. Store horizontally. Mind the sediment when pouring.
