Description

Lindemans Goyck is a blend of Lindemans lambic with the top-fermenting beer named Toots brewed by Koenraad Goddeau at Brouwerij Varenbroek. It is bottled in 75cl bottles and listed as 5.5% ABV.

History / Other Notes

This beer was first released in the summer of 2018 at the Lambiekstoempers festival. An example of a 'Versnijbier' or mixed beer, usually is a blend of spontaneous beer and top fermented beer, which fell out of fashion in the 20th century.

Label

Label text (English): Goyck is a blend beer from a top fermented beer 'Toots' and a beer of spontaneous fermentation 'Lindemans Lambic'. The bottle refermentation with 'Brettanomyces gives the final beer a unique taste and aroma! Goyck refers to the old notation of the name of our beautiful village. A village and a beer of 'Pajottenland' to be proud of!
