Description

Lindemans Gueuze Cuvée René is a traditional gueuze produced regularly and released in 355ml, 375ml, and 750ml bottles. It is labeled as 5.5% ABV

History / Other Notes

The first batch of Gueuze Cuvée René was released in 1994 at the suggestion of the U.S. importer for Lindemans, Merchant du Vin.[1] It is named for René Lindemans, who was the 6th generation master brewer at Lindemans before retiring and passing his share of the brewery on to his son in 2006. The label, in the Art Nouveau style, was designed Charles Finkel.[2]

In April 2015, Lindemans released a special blend of Cuvée René upon the inauguration if their new facility.
