Vat 93 Monoblend
Description
Boon Vat 93 Monoblend is a geuze containing lambic from foeder #59 brewed on March 26th, 2019, and bottled on April 20th, 2021. It was released in 375 mL bottles and is labeled as 8% ABV. It was released in the "VAT Discovery Box 2022" along with bottles of Vat 16 Monoblend, Vat 59 Monoblend, and Vat 122 Monoblend, and a tasting manual.
History / Other Notes
VAT 93 / Foeder n°93 used to carry red wine and was owned for over 10 years by Boon when filled with the lambic of this particular blend. It imparts a hint of volatile acidity to the blend, from the red wine it used to carry.
