3 Fonteinen Zenne d’Auge Two Barrel Calvados Lambik
Description
This second batch of Zenne d'Auge is a blend of two old Calvados cask matured lambikken. These Calvados casks were sourced with the Domaine Familial Louis Dupont in Victot-Pontfol, in the heart of Normandy. The history of this renowned cidrerie and calvados house goes back for more than 150 years.
All lambikken originate from five different 3 Fonteinen brews and three different neutral barrels, of which two four-year-old lambikken were put on the Calvados casks for extended ageing. This Calvados lambik is the first testament of a wider blending of our two crafts. Meanwhile, the team at Domaine Dupont also received a used sherry cask of ours at their premises to mature and finish an old Calvados on. The Calvados thus got that little 3 Fonteinen touch as well.
