Overview
Den Herberg is a lambic producer, but also a café. It's located in the Pajottenland region, southwest of Brussels in Buizingen. "Den Herberg" is in fact a Flemish synonym for a café or bar. The beer menu has a good selection of gueuze and kriek from various producers, as well as their own lambic and non-lambic beers. The family owned business, founded by Bart Devillé and Ann Heremans in 2007, attracts locals of all ages and hosts many events throughout the year. De Lambikstoempers handed out first prize to Den Herberg for best local lambic café in 2018. Also in 2018, Den Herberg first debuted an 18 month-old Oude Lambiek. Later in 2020, they debuted Oude Geuze Devillé.
