Description

Cantillon Monk's Café Cuvée Kriek is a kriek blend made specifically for Monk's Café in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The fruit was a Morello (variety: Kelleris) sour cherry sourced in Belgium. The cask was hand selected by Tom Peters of Monk's Café and Jean Van Roy.

History / Other Notes

This beer was only available on draft during special events at Monk's Café. A few bottles were briefly observed at Cantillon in 2011 but were never publicly available. Labels were approved on February 14, 2007 for import into the United States but no labeled bottles have ever appeared publicly.[1]
