Description
Oude Kers is a blend of black sweet cherry Kordia cherries of the Limburg and Hoeilandse Hedelfingers variety. It is currently bottled in 37,5cl and 75cl bottles and listed at 7% ABV.
History / Other Notes
This bottle was first released in June of 2021 and is one of the first commercial black sweet cherry lambics to have been released.

Black cherries
The cherries are a blend of Kordia (from Limbourg) and Hedelfingers (from Hoeiland). An experiment with the same process as kriek, but with a softer character. Carefully blended with lambic brewed from ancient local grains. Wheat contribution from own yard. Wild and spontaneous natural beer. This blend is made with 430g fruit per liter. Bottling date: 17 January 2021 Best before: 9 November 2041 Store horizontally. Mind the sediment when pouring.
