History

Vanderperre was founded in 1886 as Brasserie Ch. Vanderperre, in the Laeken-Schaerbeek area of Brussels. The brewery was located at rue Glibert 15-17. In 1968 they merged with Brabrux and continued brewing until 1972. Brabrux continued the Vanderperre brand until 1990, when it was bought and closed by Interbrew.
