As a result of this overcarbonation, approximately 10,000 37,5cl bottles from the 2011-2012 season and 10,000 bottles from the 2012-2013 season were emptied into an oak barrel again for another period of maturation. The result was subsequently bottled a second time as Oude (Gueuze Tilquin)² à l’Ancienne.

A second bottling was released in 2016 consisting of batch of 75cl bottles from the 2013-2014 season that underwent the same process.
