Description
The Fruit Extravaganza is an event organized by Tilquin to showcase fruit-infused lambics in draft versions, often one-off experimental blends or special kegs made for the occasion. It takes the form of a global tap takeover (sometimes over several dates) where a list of bars or venues participate, each pouring exclusive Tilquin fruit lambics.
As the events are held all over the world at various places, we will here originally focus on Belgian held events that are the starting points of each series, though we might add more in the future, or at least a list of locations that featured the Extravaganza.
Fruit Extravaganza #1
The first edition was held only at Moeder Fontainas in Brussels on March 3rd, 2018.
15 beers were offered on tap :
- Cassis Tilquin (black currant)
- Myrtille Sauvage Tilquin (wild blueberry)
- Groseille Rouge Tilquin (red currant)
- Framboise Tilquin (raspberry)
- Griotte Tilquin (sour Morello cherry)
- Rhubarbe Rouge Tilquin (red rhubarb)
- Mirabelle Tilquin (mirabelle plum)
- Myrtille Tilquin (blueberry)
- Sureau Tilquin (elderberry)
- Mûre Tilquin (blackberry, "regular" draft version)
- Quetsch TIlquin (damnson plum, "regular" draft version)
As well as Gueuze Tilquin (draft version), Faro Tilquin, Assemblage Tilquin (an lambic blend that has not refermnented yet, and therefore still) and Stout Rullquin.
Fruit Extravaganza #2
The second edition was also held only at Moeder Fontainas in Brussels, on November 16th, 2019.

Fruit Extravaganza #3
The third edition was particular as it was held over the four weekends where contacts were allowed in the middle of the COVID lockdown (reason why there wasn't any edition in 2020). It was held directly at the blendery to also celebrate its 10th anniversary.
Here is the list of beers poured on draft for each weekend:
Weekend 1 (Friday–Sunday): 30 April – 2 May 2021:
- Mirabelle Tilquin (mirabelle, regular bottling, not on draft)
As well as Gueuze Tilquin à l’ancienne – Cuvée du 10ème anniversaire, regular Gueuze Tilquin draft version, and Oude Geuze Megablend 2021 (HORAL gueuze bottling from all members).
Weekend 2 (Saturday–Sunday): 8–9th May 2021
- Mirabelle Tilquin (mirabelle, regular bottling, not on draft)
- Clémentine Tilquin (clementine)
- Fraise Tilquin (strawberry)
- Melon Charentais Tilquin (melon from the Charente region in France)
- Reine Claude Tilquin (Reine Claude yellow plum)
- Airelle Sauvage Tilquin (wild lingonberry)
- Pinot Noir Tilquin (Pinot noir grape)

- Quetsche Tilquin à l’ancienne with Prunes de Namur plums
As well as Assemblage Tilquin, a non-refermented lambic blend on draft.
Fruit Extravaganza #4
Spanning over several events during 2021/2022, the first date for TFE#4 was held at Moeder Lambic Fontainas as well as Dynamo in Brussels, but also Beerlovers Bar in Antwerp, De Geus van Gent in Gent, and 't Brugs Beertje in Bruge - all on October 23rd 2021, a few months after the previous edition. Confirmed beers poured at these venues (mind that list might not be complete):
