Vanderperre was founded in 1886 as Brasserie Ch. Vanderperre, in the Laeken-Schaerbeek area of Brussels. The brewery was located at rue Glibert 15-17. In 1968 the company was merged with Brabrux and continued brewing until 1972. Brabrux continued the Vanderperre brand until it was eventually bought and closed by Interbrew.
