Oude Geuze Parrain

Oude Geuze Parrain is a blend of 1, 2 & 3-year-old lambics sourced from Boon & Den Herberg (though this will most likely evolve over the years, future batches might include other producers as well or even only one if deemed fitting the profile they are looking for: a simple, easy-drinking gueuze).
== History / Other Notes ==
For the first batch (about 4000 bottles total), the 2-year-old lambic portion of the blend came from Den Herberg, while the 1 & 3-year-old portions were sourced from Boon. For batch 2 (almost 8000 bottles), the 1 and 2-year- old was sourced at Boon while the 3-year-old came from Den Herberg.
Batch 3 will be bottled in late 2025 and might be a blend of 100% Boon lambic, though it will definitely be decided during the process of blending.
Most of the quantities bottled are sold directly at the restaurant (about 5000 to 6000 bottles), the same way it was done by Gaston, Guido and Armand when they all worked under the same roof.
in November 2024, the gueuze won a bronze medal at the Brussels Beer Challenge.
