Because of th high proportion of older lambikken, the fermentation did not continue in the bottle and the blended lambik beer remained flat. The yeast dozed in, hence the name, a local dialect for the typical little sleepy knock you get over at noon. In return, with a natural-white-wine-like aroma and malty citrussy taste, the resulting beer is a subtle lambik blend, with a weighted average age of about 30 months upon its release. The oldest lambikken were brewed at the beginning of 2018.||[[File:3F Doesjel 01 Dec 2020.png|frameless|150px]] |

Description
Drie Fonteinen Doesjel is a blend of one-, two-, and three-year-old lambic that did not carbonate. It is essentially a geuze but is released as a "lazy" beer that may or may not eventually carbonate. It has been released in both 750ml and 375ml bottles and is labeled as 6% ABV.
History / Other Notes
Drie Fonteinen Doesjel has seen distribution both in Belgium and the United States. On January 2, 2008, Doesjel received initial label approval for distribution in the United States.[1]
