Description
Hanssens Experimental Cassis is a lambic blended with black currants. It is regularly released and available in 375ml bottles, labeled as 6% ABV.
History / Other Notes
Hanssens Experimental Cassis was originally released as a limited-edition export (US) only 10-case run. Though Experimental Cassis was originally intended to be a one-off brew, it is now part of the regular Hanssens portfolio. In 2018, Hanssens dropped "Experimental" from the name.
The original Hanssens Experimental Cassis received label approval for distribution in the United States on February 15, 2009.[1]
