The weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation is a festival that has been going on for 23 years and features primarily lambic beers such as oude and jonge lambiek, kriekenlambic, faro, gueuze, framboise , and others (approximately 70 beers) from all of the remaining lambic brewers and blenders. <ref name=bierpallieters>Bierpallieters, Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation - http://en.bierpallieters.be/weekend (English)</ref> This festival is put on by the Opstalse Bierpallieters, a beer drinking organization.
