This beer came to be as Jean Van Roy wanted to switch ~~grape~~ from the regular offering of [[Cantillon_Vigneronne|Vigneronne]], which at the time was using Muscat table ~~grape~~. A few trials were made with different grape varietals, including this one, ~~one of the wine grapes variants~~ of Muscat.
