Cantillon Citoyen du Monde (English: World Citizen) debuted in October 2016 at the Shelton Brothers Festival in Louisville, KY. The beer commemorates the 20th anniversary of Shelton Brothers and Cantillon working together. Initially, Shelton Brothers had sought to get fresh Liliko'i passion fruit from Hawaii, but due to the timing of the lambic season and difficulty exporting the fruit, the brewery used a passion fruit purée from Peru in April of 2016. The 220 ~~liter~~ batch was aged for ~~two to two and a half~~ months with the fruit purée and bottled in June 2016.
