Senne Eylenbosch

My farm heritage in barrels, walls and stories from the past. An old family tradition extinguished, a fresh breeze brings life to a new one. Brewery Eyenbosch Huizingen. 1876 – 1965. Finally my first lambics. Farmer by education, nature as training, lambic as a canvas. I found masters for passion and craft. Creativity in field and orchard. A future and a new generation for our Eylenbosch Farmstead.

Black cherries

The cherries are a blend of Kordia (from Limbourg) and Hoeilandse Hedelfingers. An experiment with the same process as kriek, but with a softer character. Carefully blended with lambic brewed from ancient local grains. Wheat contribution from own yard. Wild and spontaneous natural beer. This blend is made with 430g fruit per liter. Bottling date: 17 January 2021. Best before: 9 November 2041. Store horizontally. Mind the sediment when pouring.

Ingredients:

Barley malt, wheat, cherries, hop.
